Supplier Governance

Our Suppliers

Cosmetique® operates clinics nationally and works only with suppliers who meet our standards for safety, quality, compliance and responsible supply.

All procurement, supplier onboarding, product approval and training arrangements are managed centrally. Individual clinics are not authorised to approve suppliers, accept direct supply, arrange supplier-led training, negotiate purchasing terms or receive unapproved sales visits.

Contact procurement team

All supplier enquiries must be directed to Cosmetique®’s central procurement team.

Centralised process

Procurement and training are managed nationally.

Cosmetique® uses a centralised procurement and training model to support consistent supplier review, product approval, clinical governance and documentation across our national clinic network.

This approach helps protect patients, the public, clinical team members and suppliers by ensuring that products, services, training material and supplier representatives are reviewed through the appropriate internal channels before being introduced to any clinic.

Cosmetique® clinics are not authorised to:

approve new suppliers
accept products, samples or deliveries from unapproved suppliers
arrange supplier training
negotiate supply terms
purchase regulated products directly
accept sales visits from supplier representatives
permit supplier representatives to contact nurses or clinic staff directly
All supplier engagement must be coordinated through Cosmetique®'s central procurement team.

Supplier standards

We work with reputable, safe and compliant suppliers.

Cosmetique® only partners with suppliers who can demonstrate that their products, services and business practices meet the standards expected in a healthcare-adjacent clinical environment.

Before a supplier is approved to provide goods or services to Cosmetique® clinics, the supplier may be required to undergo vetting and provide relevant documentation.

Documentation may include:

company and business registration details
product specifications and safety documentation
required approvals, certifications or registrations
insurance documentation
quality assurance processes
complaint handling or adverse event processes
supply chain and continuity information
regulatory compliance documentation
privacy, cyber security or data handling information, where relevant
training material for central review, where applicable
Approval to supply one product or service does not automatically approve a supplier to provide additional products, services, training, promotional material or clinic access.

Clinic access

Supplier representatives must not attend clinics without approval.

Cosmetique® does not permit sales representatives, pharmaceutical representatives, vendor representatives, product specialists, trainers or other supplier personnel to attend, enter or contact Cosmetique® clinics unless this has been expressly approved in advance by the central procurement team.

Supplier representatives must not:

drop into a clinic without approval
enter a clinic for sales or product discussion purposes
provide products, samples or promotional material directly to a clinic
contact nurses, clinic managers or clinical team members directly about supply
discuss purchasing arrangements with clinic staff
provide clinical advice to clinic staff
provide training at clinic level
arrange training independently with a clinic
promote regulated medicines or therapeutic goods to clinic staff outside approved channels
imply that a product, service or training activity has been approved by Cosmetique® unless written approval has been provided centrally
This policy is in place to protect patients, the public and clinical team members. It also ensures supplier communications are reviewed consistently and managed through the correct governance pathway. Unapproved clinic access may result in supplier review, offboarding, prohibition from supply or, where appropriate, reporting to a relevant regulator.

Training and regulated products

Training is independent, centralised and
carefully governed.

All Cosmetique® training is arranged centrally. Individual clinics are not authorised to arrange supplier training, pharmaceutical-sponsored training, product-sponsored training or informal education sessions with supplier representatives.

Cosmetique® does not permit pharmaceutical-sponsored training or supplier-led clinical training within its clinics. This position is intended to reduce actual or perceived conflicts of interest and support independent clinical decision-making.

Training is delivered through approved, independent and appropriately credentialed training providers. Where product information is required, it must be submitted to Cosmetique® centrally for review and must not be delivered directly to clinic staff without approval.

Cosmetique® treats medicines, therapeutic goods and other regulated products with particular care. Supply, purchasing, approval and training relating to these products must occur only through authorised channels and in accordance with Cosmetique®’s internal governance processes and applicable law.

Cosmetique® does not permit supplier representatives to discuss the sale, supply or purchasing of prescription-only medicines with nurses or clinic staff at clinic level. Purchasing decisions for regulated products are managed centrally and must not be bypassed.

Where Cosmetique® identifies conduct that may involve unapproved promotion, inappropriate clinical advice, unauthorised supply discussions, non-compliant advertising or an attempt to bypass approved procurement channels, the matter may be escalated internally. Where appropriate, Cosmetique® may also notify or report the matter to a relevant regulator, including the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
